Description: The Art History Group was formed in 1995 and meetings are held at the home of John Perkin, the Group Tutor, an artist who exhibits regularly in Newbury and the surrounding area. The Group currently consists of twelve members.

At each meeting one member makes a presentation on an artist or art related subject, chosen by themselves and based on Library books and a DVD or video which is usually available from U3A Headquarters. The atmosphere is informal and relaxed and coffee and biscuits are invariably followed by a lively discussion.

Occasionally the Group visits an Art Exhibition - and past visits have included the Ashmolean Museum, Kelmscott and the Henry Moore Sculpture Park.
